The Kazaks are coming! So are the Vietnamese!  They are joining the BRIC nations (Brazilians, Indians, Russians and Chinese) and others that are also under the economic radar screen. Taken together, they comprise one of the great forces or trends that will have a huge, but not fully understood impact upon the global economy.

While it is recognized that entrepreneurs from the BRIC nations are an economic force, it is those still under the radar screen that might well have the greater long-term impact on the world’s economy and on your business (in the form of competition).

Three Unique Challenges in Building Sustainably Successful Non-Profits

Over the past decade or so, I have had the privilege of helping the leadership and boards of non-profits effectively utilize Management Systems’ tools and methods to support their long-term successful development.  These non-profits have ranged from membership organizations (like the National Association of Women Business Owners and the LA Junior Chamber of Commerce) to organizations that work to enhance the lives of families and children (like Head Start Agencies and organizations focused on early child development), to foundations, to organizations focused on education and community outreach, and even a school district.
