The Willow Group is a privately held investment vehicle with interests in real estate, corporate training and retail. The Willow Group is led by Mr. Melvin Liew, Co-founder and Managing Director and Ms. Celeste Lim, Co-founder and Director.
Melvin oversees Willow Group's business interests and is concurrently the Managing Director of Dale Carnegie Training, where he provides strategic leadership. He is also a Dale Carnegie certified trainer and conducts workshops for senior executives in the area of presentations and leadership.
Prior to Willow Group, Melvin was a Corporate Banker covering the Telecoms, Media and Technology sector where he advised clients on corporate finance and investment portfolio restructuring. He was also previously a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Co, in Frankfurt & Singapore, where his experiences include leading commercial due diligences on M&A deals, working with Asian Sovereign Wealth Funds on portfolio monitoring and management, and leading large scale transformation projects for state owned enterprises.
Melvin is a graduate of INSEAD, Fontainebleau with an MBA, and has lived and worked abroad in major cities like New York, Paris, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.
Celeste is co-founder of Willow Group, and currently serves as Director at Dale Carnegie Training Singapore. She oversees the Training team in addition to Marketing, Finance and Operations. She is a Dale Carnegie certified Master Trainer and oversees the development and certification of all Dale Carnegie trainers in Singapore.
Prior to joining Dale Carnegie Singapore, Celeste was with Barclays Bank PLC in a variety of roles in Hong Kong and Singapore, ranging from Solution Sales, Project Management, to Product Origination. She was also previously a Relationship Manager at DBS Bank, where she won numerous Sales Awards. Throughout her banking career, her clients include top names such as Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, UBS etc. Celeste started her career in the IT industry, where she was responsible for Business Development covering Australia / New Zealand.
Celeste earned her MSc in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University.
The Willow Group will be licensed and certified in all Management Systems frameworks, methodologies and tools. Beginning May 1st, Willow Group will launch a new Consulting Practice under the Go-To-Market brand of Kletos (Kletos means "Called to serve"), which they will use to introduce Management Systems consulting frameworks and solutions.
Management Systems' "Global Affiliates" are independent consultants that have been trained, licensed and certified in our firm's conceptual frameworks and proprietary organizational and leadership development methodologies. Our international affiliates are knowledgeable in their local markets and are able to use our proven frameworks and methods to assist their clients.
